Osterfestspiele Salzburg


Besides the two performances of Richard Wagner’s Sieg fried from his Ring, one on Palm Saturday, the other on Easter Monday, the Berlin Philharmonic plays concerts under its principal conductor Sir Simon Rattle, also artistic director of the Easter Festival, with a distinguished line-up of soloists. Chamber music in the Kontrapunkte cycle and a special concert by the Le Concert d’Astrée directed by Emmanuelle Haïm complete the programme of the Salzburg Easter Festival 2009.
